Such a statement should not be necessary, for most people will work that out for themselves, but we have a body called Standards for England - AKA the Thought Police for Local Government, who cost you a cool £8 M a year to stop people like me saying or doing anything remotely interesting.

Standards for England are to be abolished on 31st March
