Fly-tipping in Woodside Road

Back in January I witnessed a particularly serious incident of fly-tipping in Woodside Road, evidence in the rubbish led to the address from which the rubbish came & an arrest / prosecution has taken place.

The alleged offender pleaded not guilty on the 18th June & will now go to Luton Magistrates Court for a hearing on 1st August.

A less serious issue, but still one to be concerned about is that of people who feel its OK to dump garden waste on the highway verge. Not only is it unsightly & illegal, but if everyone decided to do that then the place would quickly resemble a dump.

I had cause to report a former Luton Labour Cllr, resident in Woodside the other day for doing just that. Disgraceful behaviour.
